from GS1-US (previously know as the Uniform Code Council
- UCC).
ü YES - Your barcode number is unique and authentic. We purchase our numbers in bulk from a US company that guarantees they won't sell duplicates of their numbers. As we resell these numbers, we guarantee that we won't sell duplicate numbers - we are careful to ensure we only sell each number once.

YES - You own your barcode number outright. It can be
re-issued by you for future products once you have sold out or
discontinued your current product.

YES - Your barcode is an EAN-13 format barcode (or UPC if you
want it), applicable for
general use on all products except pharmaceuticals.
